As a patient at Family Practice Medical Center you will have access to a full range of medical care. Our services include: adult medicine, pediatrics and gynecological services, prenatal care and delivery, adolescent care, premarital health care, colonoscopy, and treatment of acute and chronic health problems. To improve and maintain your good health, our staff can provide access to confidential, individual and family counseling.

Businesses use our occupational health services, including pre-employment physicals, drug screening, health maintenance examinations, medical consultations, and work site screenings.

As a clinic, we actively participate in a variety of community health activities and screening programs.

Preventive Services

As a patient at Family Practice Medical Center you will have access to a full range of medical care. Our services include: adult medicine, pediatrics and gynecological services, prenatal care and delivery, adolescent care, premarital health care, colonoscopy, and treatment of acute and chronic health problems.   We also offer chronic disease management and diabetic education through our dietitian and clinical nurse specialist. 

In addition to the primary care services offered, we have a number of specialty providers including Minneapolis Heart and Park Nicollet Nephrology that see patients through our outreach service.  To improve and maintain your good health, confidential, individual and family counseling can also be arranged at our location. 

Through our partnership with Willmar Diagnostic Imaging, d/b/a/ Willmar CDI we offer a full range of diagnostic imaging services including general radiography, Dexascan, mammography, ultrasound, CT and DTI.

Appointments

• OFFICE VISITS We ask that you make an appointment for all office visits and routine appointments by calling the appointment line at (320) 231-8888 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. We request 24 hours notice for cancellations.
• SAME DAY APPOINTMENTS We realize emergencies happen and people get sick unexpectedly. Same day appointments are available for these occasions. Simply call our appointment line at (320) 231-8888.
• SATURDAY SERVICE Saturday hours are 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon for urgent needs only. Please call (320) 235-7232.
• AFTER HOURS Please call our clinic number at (320) 235-7232.
• MAJOR EMERGENCIES Call 911.

Coordination of Referral Services

Family physicians are also health care coordinators. As a patient at Family Practice Medical Center, if you require other specialty services, your physician will coordinate your care. He or she will help you find appropriate specialists in the other medical fields if the need arises. The combination of a family physician and another specialist will help ensure continuity of care.

Medication/Refill Policy

Some medications used today are very complex and powerful. They can cause annoying or possibly serious side effects. For this reason, we must see you to make a diagnosis before prescribing any drug treatment. If you regularly take a prescription drug, we need to see you periodically. If you are in need of a refill, please check with your pharmacist. You should allow at least one full working day for medications to be refilled.
