Our Beginning

Family Practice Medical Center has grown from the once single practicing physician into a multi-physician practice. From the beginning of the practice in 1976, the philosophy of providing medical care to rural Minnesota through a single physician-patient relationship has been the driving force of our clinic. We’ve worked hard to foster a positive culture within our clinic and the wider health care community of Willmar.

We pride ourselves in being Board Certified providing a full range of services including obstetrics, flexible sigmoidoscopies, colonoscopies, colposcopies, cardiac stress tests, vasectomies & other office procedures, as well as continuous inpatient and outpatient care.

As a board certified family practice specialist, each physician must recertify continually throughout his or her career. Family medicine recertification involves a commitment on the part of your physician for annual continuing education and regular recertification exams.
